Article 4: Disclosure to Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties.
Data is transmitted to freee K.K. only through their official OAuth API, to retrieve your own data.
If payment processing is added later, payment information will be handled by the payment processor (e.g., Stripe) and not stored by BridgeInvoice.
We use Google Analytics for traffic analysis; access data is transmitted to Google LLC in the United States (a cross-border transfer of personal data) and handled under Google's privacy policy.
Exception: disclosure may be required by Japanese law, court order, or to protect the rights/safety of users or the public.
Article 5: Security Measures
OAuth access tokens are encrypted at rest using Fernet symmetric encryption (AES-128-CBC).
Refresh tokens are stored encrypted in the same manner.
All data transmission uses HTTPS.
Database access is restricted to the application process only.
Session cookies are signed and expire after 14 days.
No passwords are stored (authentication is delegated to freee's OAuth).
PDFs are generated on-demand and are not stored unless explicitly saved by the user.
Article 6: Data Storage Location and Retention
Data is stored on servers in the AWS Tokyo region (ap-northeast-1).
User data is retained while the account is active.
Users may request deletion at any time (Article 8).
Analytics data is retained for 12 months, then automatically deleted.
Generated PDFs are stored only if explicitly saved; unsaved PDFs are not retained.
Article 7: Use of Cookies
We use a session cookie to maintain your login state after freee OAuth.
We use Google Analytics (gtag.js) for traffic measurement. It sets Google cookies and transmits access information (IP address, pages viewed, etc.) to Google.
No advertising cookies.
You can opt out via your browser's cookie settings or Google's opt-out add-on; see Google's privacy policy for details.
In-app usage analytics (e.g. invoices generated) remain self-hosted, with IP addresses anonymized as described in Article 3.
Article 8: Requests for Disclosure, Correction, Deletion, and Suspension
You may request disclosure, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting contact@bridgeinvoice.jp.
You may disconnect freee and delete all stored data from the account settings page.
We respond within the statutory period (2 weeks).
Identity verification may be required for disclosure requests.
Article 9: Amendments
This policy may be updated as necessary.
Material changes will be posted here with the effective date.
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
